Paula's Place is a 50's themed family restaurant with a friendly staff and environment. Owners Paula and Brian Steinke take pride in making you feel like you are at home while you are dining.

The Steinkes previously ran Cafe Laporte in Port Edwards and decided to move to Nekoosa because of Cafe Laporte's small parking lot. Many of their customers have followed them to Nekoosa.

The restaurant runs daily specials that include $1 hamburger night Thursdays, cod fish fry on Fridays and chicken dinner on Sundays. Breakfast is served all day, and the dessert list includes a variety of homemade pies baked by Brian's mother, Kelley Steinke.
